In this workshop you will be creating simple A6 size pocket notebooks. Using our extensive collection of metal type ornaments you can create patterns as well as typographical designs to be printed on your notebook covers. You will leave our print works with a set of unique notebooks to keep or give as gifts.

Sarah Wood Lane

Sarah Wood Lane: Designer & Letterpress Printer


Sarah runs family printing firm Berrington Press and completed a craft apprenticeship under the tutelage of her father, David Wood in letterpress print methods. She is also the creator of the Berrington Press stationery brand, Osity.

  • Gift vouchers available if you would like to purchase a workshop as a gift for someone else.

We request that under 16’s are accompanied by an adult.

Payment and Cancellations

Payment in full is required at the time of booking.

  • 
If for any reason you are unable to attend the workshop after booking, we require at least 14 working days’ notice prior to the workshop date.
  • Bookings are unfortunately non-refundable but we are happy to transfer you to an alternative workshop date in the future.

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the workshop, an alternative date will be offered.

We are located in the beautiful Golden Valley in Herefordshire and a stone’s throw from book town Hay-on-Wye. There are many places to stay in this enchanted area.
